It allows vehicles with large overhang to be towed without damaging them (rear of platform/centre of wheel lift forks : +/- 1 875 m/m). The extendable lifting arm slides on Nylatron slide pads with adjustment of the clearance of the extension tube, enabling easy handling even with extremely heavy loads. All boom are galvanized The jack rods are protected by a sliding metal shock-resistant housing. Maximum raised height of the lifting arm equipped with its removable crane head (+/- 3 140 m/m), enabling a car to be hoisted out of a ditch by winching. The elements of the crossbar and lift forks are made of foundry part, and have the following advantages : - Increased resistance. - Compactness (height 155 m/m). - Automatic unlocking of the crossbar's rotation system when the forks are tilted. - Tapered roller bearings allow for perfect rotation. - Wheel lift forks and bars to hold wheels in place are also forged and are specially designed so as not to damage wheel rims and tyres. All the jacks are equipped with balancing valves, which enable better control of the load, and isolation of the jack in the event of tube breakage. Our crossbars and lift forks are considered to be underrun protection bars, and as such are approved according to European directive 2000/8.
