All our bodies are mounted on resilient blocks and are completely independent of the subframe, which makes them easier to remove and less affected by twisting of the chassis. Spacious and suited to the design and shape of the cabs, with an obvious aesthetic approach that can be seen in the harmonization of the different modules making up the bodywork, they are fitted with galvanized sheet metal wings with rubber finishing and mating seals.
All the truck components, such as the air cylinders, fuel tanks and battery housings, are placed behind the cab within the limits of the regulations and the technical options, so as to leave as much lateral volume available as possible.
POLYMODULE composite bodies are made of glass fibre and laminated resin with a constant thickness of 5 mm, and aluminium reinforcing inserts; the compartment depth is optimized at 570 mm. The rear end modules feature a stainless steel access handrail. The hingeless rear doors are equipped with gas jacks and open upwards to provide full clearance. They are fitted with future-proof composite-material locking handles that can house an optional centralized pneumatic locking system. The doors have rolling shutters consisting of interlocking extruded box-section aluminium slats with a painted finish chosen from among the RAL colours, allowing all types of lettering and stripping.

STRENGTHS AND ADVANTAGES OF ALUMINIUM ROLLER SHUTTER DOORS
1) Full clearance over the entire door surface area and width for optimum access
2) No door overlap when several doors alongside each other are open at the same time, especially useful during windy weather
3) It is essential to open almost all the doors in use and leave them open to provide quick access to heavy equipment that has to be carried with both hands, as it is not possible to open or shut doors in this case In most cases, the doors are opened with clean hands before starting an intervention and closed just before leaving an accident site
4) In many locations, it is necessary to place the vehicle as close as possible to motorway safety barriers, walls or bridge piers, and in this case it is impossible to open traditional doors
5) During an intervention, it is often necessary to move or manoeuvre a rescue vehicle several times, and in this case it is useful to be able to leave the doo
rs open without creating any hazards
6) Enhanced safety because the doors cannot open while the vehicle is moving
The rear dual-function signalling lights are LED lights. The side body under-structures are equipped with LED side lights. Two adjustable work lights are installed on the rear of the truck, together with shaped LED side marker lights on rubber strips. The control panel is made of stainless steel and backlit.
The backs of the compartments are fitted with stainless steel ventilation grills to reduce condensation, and a flap providing access to the diesel fuel tank.
Air transport type open-profile aluminium rails anchor shelf-support or stowage slides, according to choice, in any position in the front compartments of the POLYMODULE bodies. All the compartments have full LED lighting and are fitted with high-resistance moulded nylon floor mats. All the electric control functions are multiplexed and centralized on two panels, one in the cab and the other in the rear right cabinet of the body. The rear instrument panel includes a pressure switch, an engine hour meter, battery voltage, and filter fouling indicator lights, as well as an accelerated idling control integrated in the radio control system.
This centralized system allows multiple inputs and outputs for all the equipment accessories. Bonded TBS panels are fitted to protect the ends of the compartments. Hooks and fasteners for various equipment items, chains, forks, fork holders and HGV lifting grids are fitted in the compartments. The surfaces are polished and receive a gel coat, primer, and 2 coats of motor vehicle quality lacquer. Marine type non-slip surfaces are set in the resin on the walkways over the compartments.
