Luxury stylized body made of polyester composite of an average thickness of 5 m/m, reinforced by inserts (the resin has a fire resistance grade of M4). The body has been specially designed in order to match the styles of the most common driver's cabs and chassis which are currently available. The body is made up of two independent modules (one on the right and one on the left) which are entirely separate underneath. These two bodies are fixed onto the subframe with a removable mount and are suspended on silent blocks, which provide shock absorption, reduce vibrations, and help to prevent deformation caused by movement of the chassis. The 3 wide lateral storage compartments are independent and partitioned off. They are graduated in size, in order to respect the streamlined style which lightens the rear of the body. Each door is equipped with a stainless steel hinge with a greaser and flexible stop, and a folding handle with a key-operated lock. The bottom of each storage compartment is fitted with a special shock-absorbing mat which prevents abrasion due to scraping. Orange LED body lights clearly indicate the vehicle's presence. The LED vehicle signalling equipment is fitted into the rear body skirt, along with the electrical connection socket for vehicle signalling when towing, and a work light. The bulkhead with light bar mount fits in well, keeping in line with the contours of the driver's cab. Several different accessory options can also be fitted to the bulkhead, such as work lights and different vehicle signalling equipment. The rear wings house the mudguards made of recyclable, high-density, rotomoulded polyethylene, with a reinforced, light structure. The mudguards are hydrocarbon resistant, and are equipped with rubber flaps. A double-lip seal is used to join the mudguards to the body. The whole upper work area at the rear, where Dolly trolleys and other equipment is used, is covered with a thick protective TBS shock-absorbing mat. The luxury body option includes painting (two coats) of the Mid City towing arm with motor trade quality lacquer, as well as the complete assembly of the Mid City towing arm with its tubular subframe, which is equipped with all the mounting systems for the towing arm. It also includes the fitting of the distributor, with manual emergency control levers; all arm functions, light bar, working light...radio remoted. A spare-wheel carrier with its wheel cover is on the subframe. An aluminium panel is provided to close the body understructure, as well as another underneath the Mid City towing arm. EC regulation
